Our life is a string of stories. The more intricate the stories the more enriched is the life. To see if someone has lived a full life ask the person stories of his/her life.
I am sure everyone has stories to tell from their college days, interesting stories, daring escapades. As we grow old our tendency shifts from making stories to handling transactions.
For making stories there has to be dreams in the eyes, dreams that are little removed from buying next big car, investing in another property or checkmating a colleague at office! These dreams have to be what the heart wants to do rather than what the brain tells one to do.

I completely agree. Without these stories our lives would have been so monotonous, won't it? And perhaps these experiences further enrich our soul across various lives.
